EPACENTER Celebrates the Power
of Intergenerational Connections

All summer long, Northern California’s EPACENTER — a creative development hub serving East Palo Alto — hosted a Sunset Concert Series where the community’s youth and elders enjoyed the sounds of summer.

The series closed out with Vallejo’s own Con Funk Shun providing the soundtrack for neighbors of all ages to dance, sing, and celebrate the community together.

For more than a decade, EPACENTER has served as a place for young people to discover and amplify their talents, but recently the organization has expanded its efforts to seniors, adults with developmental disabilities, and the broader community.

28 Young Men Experience the Joys
of Summer Camp with ALL4LOVE

For one week this summer, 28 young men stepped away from the routines of everyday life and traveled to Lake Champion in New York. The week was filled with adventure, laughter, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to experience life beyond Dorchester County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

ALL4LOVE believes some of the greatest growth happens outside the classroom. When young people are given the opportunity to explore new places, face new challenges, and spend uninterrupted time alongside caring adults, relationships flourish.
