Christina joined The Campbell Foundation in June of 2026 as the Foundation’s Community Engagement Fellow. Christina will help advance the Foundation’s mission of creating more equitable and livable communities by working with partners in the Chesapeake Watershed region to address systemic inequities and immediate needs.

Christina works closely with Kenneth Turner, Program Director, Community Engagement, to explore prospective grantee organizations and facilitate the review, analysis, and presentation of funding requests.

In her prior role as Grant Administrator for Spanish American Civic Association for Equality (SACA), Christina created successful workflows for processing grant awards. She also built and maintained relationships across Lancaster County and developed an understanding of the issues facing communities and service providers alike. Previously, she oversaw grant writing at Lighthouse Vocational Services, a nonprofit that serves adults with developmental disabilities.

Christina was recently part of Leadership Lancaster’s 2026 Core Class, a program which challenges participants to utilize their leadership skills to assume more active volunteer roles in addressing Lancaster’s communities’ needs.

Born into a family culture that understood caring for others and the environment as a sacred act, Christina has fostered a long-standing sense of mission toward supporting holistic wellness for her human and ecological communities. She holds an Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts from Goshen College with a focus in Environmental Studies. During her studies she volunteered with Jubilee Partners, assisting refugees in acclimating to life in the United States. After graduation she traveled with The Jubilee Troupe, an interactive arts group facilitating workshops and performances on themes of peacemaking, social justice, and community healing. From 2010-2012, she explored land-based models for living in ecological balance, working and learning at four farms dedicated to sustainable agriculture, permaculture and community on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Now having lived in Lancaster, PA, for many years, Christina enjoys nurturing deep roots there. She loves walking to Lancaster City’s Central Market for breakfast on Saturday mornings, wading in streams in the woods outside of town, and connecting with loved ones over café lunches. Another favorite pastime is traveling with her partner, Amos, and their dog, Juniper. She also enjoys brightening her life through decorating her home and dressing colorfully.
