The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 provided a massive infusion of funds to support agricultural conservation investment. The Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment commissioned an independent group to produce an assessment of impediments to agricultural conservation and recommended actions.
The assessment identifies gaps in both financial assistance and technical assistance services and recommends specific actions to address them. The assessment provides recommendations to increase efficiency in producers’ access to capacity in the delivery of conservation investments, through administrative actions and policy opportunities for the Farm Bill.
